Ying Yang (Gender Relations)

More and more, women affirm themselves as inescapable actresses of their society. Talking about the private or public sphere they bring a specific and critical points of view on different areas (sciences, philosophy, politics, ethics, culture, environment.).

Within this college, women try at the same time to understand the reasons of their marginalization and to develop their own vision of what tomorrow's world should be. With a long experience in organizing themselves and in networking, women all over the world (perspectives developed by feminism) represent a real strength for proposal.

This file was written on the occasion of the participation of the "Yin Yang" (masculine-feminine) working group of an Alliance for a Responsible and United World at the Hague Conference from May 11th to 15th in response to the call of a hundred organizations representing civil society to commemorate the centenary of the first international peace conference, organized by Czar Nicholas II of Russia and the Queen of the Netherlands, and launch a detailed international action plan for the coming decades.
