The geocultural branch reflects the diversity of places and cultures. They aim to gather the people of a town, region, country, or continent on the basis of the realities and challenges of their society.




Africa
The Alliance in Africa aims at facing the challenges the continent faces, while recovering the best of African values and history. Among those challenges, peace is paramount. The latest initiative in the continent is the African Caravan for Peace and Solidarity. African allies are also engaged in the defense of family farming, soils, education, communication... And they contribute to the Alliance debate and reflection on a Charter for a Responsible, Plural and United World, on governance, on men-women relationships and other (...)

America
People and organizations from the American continent participate to the dynamic of the Alliance from its beginning, as a step further to their daily activities et their preoccupation. Several meetings took place in Latin America as well as in North America. For necessities of organization, four subregions have been identified on the continent : North America, Meso-america and the Caribbean, Andean countries and South Cone. Europe
Europeans have participated in the Alliance since the meetings that led to the Platform for a Responsible and United World. Today, the Alliance is present in numerous countries of Western and Southern Europe. During 200, their reflection has focused on 4 main themes, through a forum and a continental Assembly. The European allies are concerned by most of the Alliance’s topics. Asia
The Alliance’s presence in Asia is manifest through the activities of groups in South Asia, China, the Philippines, and other countries. The Asian allies interprete the challenge of the building of a responsible, plural and united world from their own cultures. In several meetings, they stressed the importance of spirituality and of the affirmation of certain values in this building.
