Records of Alliance Forums (1996-2003)

Alliance forums began early: in 1996! In 1997, the Alliance conducted its first experiment in "remote participation" for the December 1997 World Alliance Assembly (Bertioga, Brazil; Algiers, Algeria; Bangalore, India; Roubaix, France; Kigali, Rwanda). After that, the first moderated, multilingual, structured forums were started ...

Forums are now commonplace, even though the moderated, structured, multilingual forums available in the Alliance remain unique.* The Alliance for a Responsible, Plural and United World began making forums a means for continuous and productive communication as early as 1996. If you are curious and interested, you can see the records of these early discussions here. Under "Recommended Selection" you are given details and tips on what might be most interesting to read.

Following are also reports on just a few of the debating forums conducted between 1996 and 2003.
