WORLD SUMMIT ON THE INFORMATION SOCIETY: United Nations Declares ICT a Good of Public Interest

A selection of international
political representatives,
technical engineers and
representatives of civil society
came together in Geneva
this week, as part of the World
Summit on the Information
Society. Organised by the
United Nations, the Summit
will adopt an international
action plan that addresses the
development of information
and communication technologies
(ICT) to serve all members
of society.
