Thanks Kerry Ann for helping move this discussion toward a decision.
I had indicated earlier that I would not be able to attend a meeting in
July or
August, but early September was OK for me.
I realize the dates Kerry Ann suggests, Sept 1-8, have a weekend right in the
middle. It may be more useful to plan for FOUR working days, which can
include
a half day for a different activity organized locally, but all within the same
week. Given the long travel times to India for many, people should be able to
plan travel to have effective working time for the days chosen...
In this way, the alternatives would be work 4 days in the week of 30 Aug-3
Sept, or work 4 days in the week of sep 6-10.
I invite you to consider the first meeting of the International Orientation
Team to work from TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 7 TO FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 1999.
I hope we can get a final decision on this by the end of this week.

reunion en Septiembre, no antes. Kerry Ann sugiere el periodo entre 1 y 8
sept, el cual tiene un fin de semana en medio. Creo que es mas efectivo
planear trabajo para CUATRO dias completos, pero en la misma semana. Sea
en la
que termina el 3 de sept, o en la que termina el 10, para que la gente pueda
planear su viaje de manera que tenga tiempo efectivo de reunion para esos
dias...
sugiero que la reunion sea del martes 7 al viernes 10 de septiembre, y que
logremos tener una fecha definitiva al final de esta semana.
