Dear friends,

Here are some comments to the Montreal report, and some corrections to the
English, which is almost perfect ;-)

Of course I have more comments on 7.1. (Fair Trade) than on other workshops.
I'll follow the order of the text :

COMMENT
"How to link the WSES project with concrete agendas ?" :
We should think here of the link with other collective dynamics, such as the
World Social Forum, the Latin-America SES network. We need to define
collectively a strategy of participation to those dynamics. Make the link
visible, keep an open spirit.

CORRECTION
Integration of the RESPONSIBLE TOURISM (and not "Equitable Tourism"). This is
the correct name of this workshop.

COMMENT
Responsible Tourism is a workshop closely related to Fair Trade and Consumption,
as it shares some issues with it. Except it deals with services. It could thus
be in 7.3. for example.

CORRECTION
Theme 7.1. is Fair Trade in English, not Equitable Trade.

COMMENTS ON 7.1.
* Concerning this workshop, the animators are Humberto and Pierre Johnson.
Lavinia left the hand to Pierre by lack of time.
* The Milan meeting is in question, because the allies there are too busy.
* There is an interest for this workshop in West Africa. A group of allies would
like to organize a meeting on Fair Trade in this region. How do we integrate
them ?

CORRECTION
* Last sentence of 7.1. : close linK to keep with ..

ADDITIONAL COMMENT
The report says Fair Trade and International Trade should keep close link. This
is illustrated by the coming Lima meeting of the Fair Trade workshop. In order
to build more precise proposals for this workshop and start identifying
crossings for the pole meeting, the animators of the Fair Trade and the WTO
workshop could also exchange view points, since a document is already ready for
each of those workshops.

CORRECTION
Spelling mistake on page 10 : CHEAPER and not "chipper".

Best regards,

Pierre
Johnson
