de vote. Je suis d ' accord avec Alain Kernevez quand il dit qu'en lisant
les messages on est enclin a penser que tout se passe bien dans nos
democraties occidentales (par rapport a la problematique en question)

Toute la discussion que nous faisons dans ce forum comme dans les autres
tient comme support commun le fait que nous nous battons tous - femmes et
hommes - pour la democratie ; mais nous ne sommes pas du tout contents avec
la pauvrete grandissante du fonctionnement de la democratie representative.
Mai 68 a ete bien une revolte contre cette democratie qui se satisfaisait
des formalites que tout le monde utilisait (l'Etat, l'Administration
publique, les entreprises, les partis politiques, les syndicats, les
associations).
Toute notre discussion a pour but construire de nouveaux chemins pour la
democratie. Il s'agit d' inventer des modes d'organisation et d'intervention
ou de niveaux d'intermediation comme [le souligne] Denis Pansu

peut pas rester un exercice intellectuel, il faut qu'on reflechisse a partir
de nos pratiques sur le terrain.
Oui, je suis d'accord avec la libre circulation des emmigres ainsi que des
immigres (des Europeens, des Africains, des Arabes ou Asiatiques, femmes et
hommes, de couleur ou blancs). Je suis d'accord aussi avec le droit de vote
[accorde] a tous les immigres.
Mais ces accords ne sont que des voeux pieux. Combien d'immigres, ayant le
droit de vote (parce qu il y a des accords entre des pays ou parce que
l'immigre a pris la nationalite du pays [d'accueil]) participent
effectivement aux divers types d'elections ?
Je crois que notre premier devoir est de lutter pour que notre soeur ou
frere aie des conditions de vie humaines : logement, sante, education,
travail, securite. Cela peut exiger un engagement serieux pour les aider a
s'organiser, a trouver un espace pour des reunions, a fournir des
informations concernant des sujets pour leur interet ainsi que sur leurs
droits et devoirs, leur enseigner la langue nationale, ou les appuyer aupres
de l'administration, etc.
C' est ainsi que leur citoyennete pourra devenir reelle et realiste, dans la
mesure ou ils se prennent en charge. On pourrait meme prevoir, dans la loi,
que ceux - parmi les immigres - organises dans des associations soit [de
ressortissants] soit professionnelles ou de quartier aient le droit de vote
tres rapidement.

has the common feature that we fight all - women and men - for the
democracy; but we are not at all happy with the growing poverty of the work
of the representative democracy. May 68 was in fact a revolt against this
democracy that was satisfied with the formalities that everybody used (the
state, the public administration, the business, the political parties, the
unions, the organizations).
All our discussion has for aim to build new paths for the democracy. It is
about creating the forms of organization and contribution or levels of

cannot remain an intellectual exercise, it is necessary that one think from
our practices on the field.
Yes, I agree with the free circulation of the emigrants as well as the
immigrants (the Europeans, the Africans, the Arabs or Asians, women and men,
of color or white). I agree also with the right to vote [granted] to all
immigrants.
But these agreements are only devout hopes. How much immigrants, having the
right to vote (because there is agreements between countries or because the
immigrant took the nationality of the country [of reception]) participate
indeed to the miscellaneous types of elections?
I believe that our first duty is to fight so that our sister or brother have
some human conditions of life: accommodation, health, education, work,
security,. It can require a serious commitment to help them to be organized,
to find a place for meetings, to provide the information concerning the
subjects of their interest as well as on their rights and duties, to teach
them the national language, or to support them with regard to the
administration, etc.
It is as indeed as their citizenship will be able to become real and
realistic, insofar as they take care of themselves. One could also plan, in
the law, that those - among them immigrants - organized into organizations
is [of nationals] professional or of neighbourhood, have the right to vote
very quickly.
